Description
David rendered his 3D digital model creation of the World War Two medium B-26 bomber, the "Sessanta Nova?", using the Eon Vue software. The environment around the model consisted of a spherical ground plane emulating the earth from above, a single light source as the sun, and the interaction of that light among volumetric clouds and the reflected rays of light along with ambient light in the atmosphere. Along with the bomber was included a German fighter plane of that same era, the Messerschmitt BF 109, to suggest what a fly-by of the B-26 for an observation might have looked like. Though much quicker in speed, the fighter knew of the reputation of the Marauder, which became known as a tough survivor of air battles, with nearly a dozen 50 caliber machine guns that could fire in any direction, so the pilot decides it wise to be cautious and confront the bomber some other time, ducking back into the clouds for concealment.
