About David Luebbert

David Luebbert My name is David Luebbert, pronounced David LouBear. I have always been an artist, as long as I can remember, all the way from my first crayon sketch, to chalk, colored pencil, charcoal, finger paints, collages, scratchboard, oil, acrylic, airbrushing, pen and ink, until finally the last frontier, digital media. Digital art encompasses all the traditional media I used before, because it can virtually mimic them all, then add the ease by which it does so, and basically any type of medium that can be taken from the traditional art world from hand to canvas. My goal is to find beauty in any subject, and if not beauty, then some aspect of something positive to exude from the heart. And now that Artificial Intelligence is available for the purpose of offering a staggering amount of creativity to us all, I have started exploring that world, as a wonderful way to help create incredible references for my paintings. I Use a plugin called Vision FX for my Corel Painter software among other software, to help me get inspired and to help imagine wonderful concepts and compositions. As an Air Force veteran I feel the desire to create aviation art as well. Creating for me has always been an adventure. I invite you to come along with me if so desired. Thank you.

I use a Gaomon sensitive computer display, which is my virtual canvas, and having been an acrylic painter, favor a painterly style in my artworks using my hand held virtual paint brush stylus. My display is calibrated to keep whatever I see on my screen faithfully the same throughout the print creation process. My gallery is online and found on Fine Art America dot com, and with the fullest possible print types at my own site, LOUBEAR.PIXELS.COM, and both galleries are great at producing beautiful prints on many different media. I also have a YouTube channel where my painting process can be watched as I paint every stroke on many different paintings. Find it on my gallery links page.
