Artist's Description
This is an audio expression painting "performed" by the artist. The recording used was the 1973 instrumental by the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Birds of Fire from the album of the same name. A kaleidoscope function was used, and the artist started at the center for the beginning of the song, then gradually worked outward toward the edges. The music's characteristics were in some way recorded by the particle brush, whether audio frequency, dynamics, or rhythm.
