David was inspired to create a work of art based on the iconic Statue of Liberty. He wanted to show that despite the chaos, the wars, the confusion, arguments, disunity, separateness, diversity, the Union still exists and lives on, working to guarantee those basic rights to all that should be. He started with an idea and developed it into a sketch and then painted work using Corel Painter. David finishes his prints in very high resolution, so even large size prints will have great smoothness, sharpness and details. His monitor is color calibrated, so for a person viewing this image with a calibrated screen, the ordered print will look very close to it.
