This is an audio expression painting "performed" by the artist. Starting in the center of the canvas, he used a modified "energy crackle" particle brush, and after modifying the characteristics of the brush to his preference, he began a single stroke at the beginning of the instrumental musical piece, never picking up the stylus from the canvas until the final note. Differences in color and expression and changes in line direction can be seen from the beginning (center) spiraling outward to the margins where the song ended.
The song used for expression was the incredible composition by John McLaughlin, a super-performing guitarist, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, from the 1971 album entitled "The Inner Mounting Flame".
