Artist's Description
A boat sails along the Sea of Galilee. This is a digital painting based on a three dimensional polygon model created with ZBrush and Keyshot by the artist. He found altitude map data on the Internet to use for creating a realistic polygon map based on x,y,z proportions. The water is a separate surface with different material properties. A boat was added, the scene rendered and then digitally painted with software. This is the result. Dave plans to use his Galilee 3D map for future illustrations, possibly for a children's book about the time of Jesus.
