This is a 3D render using Keyshot, in other words, a virtual photo taken of the computer model that David built. The only obvious error that David painted in by hand was to fix a hair passing through the bill of the hat. One source of light emanates from the end of the wizard's staff to light the figure.
David has worked and improved his wizard model for years and this is his latest attempt at perfecting it.
